For his headshot clientele, Anthony offers a session that is designed to get the widest range of shots for you to use for your personal brand. He shoots all his headshots from above the chest and concentrates on coaching you to produce a number of different facial expressions that capture your unique personality. He recommends multiple changes of clothing to give you variety over the course of your session, so over-pack if possible! A variety of top options is great and he always says if it’s not there he can’t shoot it. Sessions last anywhere from 15 minutes to 3 hours based entirely on your needs, the number of looks you’d like photographed, and the range of imagery you’d like to walk away with.
For Anthony’s portrait clients, he photographs a variety of looks and also varies the lighting and backgrounds a bunch. These sessions generally last a minimum of 3 hours and include a wide gamut of images from headshots to full body and everything in between.
Throughout the session, you will be reviewing the images with Anthony to narrow them down to the winners that you will leave with at the end of your shoot and anything that you don’t want to purchase will be deleted. Narrowing down in this manner not only allows us to focus on the cream of the crop and get rid of the rest, but it’s an important coaching tool that Anthony uses to get you firing on all cylinders in front of his camera.
At the end of the session, you will select the final images you’d like to purchase from the best of the best. The price of each image that you select to buy is $50 and that covers unlimited licensing of the image for your own personal use. Anthony also includes professional retouching to his specs free of charge should you want the images cleaned up a bit. Images that go through that process are ready one week from when the image purchase is paid in full.
Headshots vs. Portraits
During a headshot session, we keep the camera up close and personal. All the images are captured from the chest up while we concentrate on coaching you toward your best expression. That’s 100% on us and something we pride ourselves upon. We’ll coach you throughout the entire process to not only capture superb imagery but to educate you on what angles and expressions work best for you. We often vary the background colors and love a variety of clothing changes over the course of the session. As you can see from our work, we have created beautiful lighting that is headshot specific and matches our aesthetic that we believe will have you looking your best.
Our portrait sessions are where we love getting creative and vary things up quite a bit. We’ll be including portraits along with your headshots, so you’ll have an assortment of different backgrounds/lighting and we change the proximity of the camera to the subject as well. You’ll walk away with a broader range of pictures and everything you’ll need for your own personal branding purposes.
